That was certainly brought up. It really is a tricky time of year. The 1st week should fall a couple days earlier on 4-11-12, I believe. Their have been years when the conditions are perfect during both weeks and horrible just the same. The two main reasons for picking week 1 was less chance for hot weather which can be worse than windy conditions and the fact that week 2 coincided with Rickie's B-Day.
It's been awhile for trying week 2 so I'm game....

Looks like mother nature played a definite role in the lack of a successful Turkey harvest for 2011. Maybe next year we go for second season??
